Cooper is a classically trained film and stage actress. Hailing
from down South, she grew up wanting to be a spy. Or an
archaeologist. Instead she graduated with a B.F.A. from the
prestigious North Carolina School of the Arts.
A brand new transplant from New York City, Cooper moved to LA
for a film, planning to return East. Now, months later, she
just hasn't had the chance to leave!

Most recently, Cooper starred in an upcoming disaster film for
the SyFy Channel; she revealed newly acquired fire-arm skills in
Preston Whitmore's ‘Dough Boys’ for BET; and stood her ground
opposite Lorenzo Lamas in the summer’s cult hit, Mega Shark. She
also just produced and starred in the upcoming series, “Squatters.”

Cooper plays the title role in the upcoming comedy about social
networking, ‘Amy Alyson Fans,’ set to release in the fall of 2011.

Cooper can be seen on TV in numerous commercials, including
POM Wonderful and Yamaha Vmax Motorcycle cam-
paigns, and is the current spokeswoman in the Dish Network
spots, as well as the new host of Red Bull’s Flugtag events. Winner
of the Lynn Redgrave Award for Best Feature, Cooper’s film,
LOVE CONQUERS PAUL, showcases her as the wholesome love interest and is now out on DVD.

Cooper is on the Board of the non-profit theatre organization, Hidden Voices. She is passionate about traveling, painting, and surprising her amazing family in various (mostly pleasant) ways. In general, she is fascinated by people in public office, and prefers to club in disguise.

In addition to her acting career, Cooper creates and produces award-winning commercial content for companies such as Post Its, Kimberly Clark, and Krazy Glue. Cooper is also an accomplished violinist and fiddler. As a visual artist, her award-winning paintings have toured the country. She is currently illustrating her second children's book.
